Below is a picture representing The Potter's House 2008 participation in Operation Christmas Child. Members of our church packed, wrapped and delivered 15 gift-filled shoeboxes together with the Good News of God's love in order to bring joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world. People of all ages got involved in this simple, hands-on missions project while focusing on the true meaning of Christmas - Jesus Christ.
Recently, two members of The Potter's House joined together with ten members of Monadnock Full Gospel Church for an inner-city missions trip. These committed followers of Christ travelled to Buffalo, NY on August 13th for a five day missions adventure.
The group ministered to many people in need throughout the city. While working alongside the Buffalo Dream Center they received a hands on ministry expereince. During the week they participated in Adopt-A-Block programs, assisted at a soup kitchen, handed out food, ministered at a youth detention center, visited a nursing home, helped with Children's programs,and ministered to many children, youth and adults. It was a week of fruitful ministry. Many lives were touched and the group has returned to New England with a renewed sense of God's calling and purpose for their lives.
